If a wound can be accurately photographed by WoundMend smart Camera, then it is possible to be assessed. But this is not the case all the time, for example:

• There is something covering the wound, obstructing the view of the camera. For example, hair, a tattoo, blood or other fluids covering the injury.
• When the wound is close to a skin fold. Example: When the wound is close to an ear, a belly button, or on a lip. This might cause our image recognition software to be unable to make a distinction between the wound and the skin fold.
• When multiple wounds a are close together, it is difficult for our assessment to distinguish the one that needs the assessment. Therefore, these wounds cannot be assessed.
